Singer Stevie Wonder has filed for divorce from his second wife, fashion designer Kai Millard Morris. According to court papers filed in Los Angeles on Friday, 62-year-old Wonder cited irreconcilable differences. He also listed the pair’s date of separation as October 2009. Wonder, whose real name is Stevland Morris, is asking for joint custody of the two boys, 10-year-old Kailand and 7-year-old Mandla. The “My Cherie Amour” and “Signed, Sealed, and Delivered” singer agreed to pay spousal and child support.
The couple wed in September 2001. Wonder was also married to Motown singer Syreeta Wright from 1970 to 1972. Among his two marriages and the many relationships the singer had along the way, Wonder has seven children.
