Rumors swirl that ‘Destiny’s Child’ will be performing at the Super Bowl

It has been confirmed that Beyonce will be performing for the upcoming Super Bowl halftime. However, word on the street is that she will be joined by her former bandmates from the singing group “Destiny’s Child.” Michelle Williams, another former member of the group, has denied that the group will be doing a halftime reunion, but at the same time it confirmed that she would “not be appearing” for a stretch of time that coincides with the Super Bowl.

“This not confirmed! It is rumored!” said Williams, “I’m going to be in the musical ‘Fela!’ I hate to disappoint the people and tell them that it’s not true! I’m sorry,” she said. “I’m so sorry but we did record a song with each other before the holidays. … We have talked about, and you know, maybe one day soon.”
