“Modern Family” steals show at Emmys

“Modern Family” received the best comedy award for the third year in a row at this past Sunday’s 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards. “Modern Family” actors Julie Bowen and Eric Stonestreet as well as the show’s co-creator Steve Levitan were also honored. The series shared the stage with other honorees such as Jon Stewart’s “Daily Show” that received the best variety award for the tenth year in a row and CBS’s “The Amazing Race” that won best reality show, its ninth in the last ten years.
