Rap star Lil Wayne was hurt in St. Louis Monday after he gashed his head open skateboarding. Wayne, who’s real name is Dwayne Michael Carter, wrote on his Twitter account that he received nine stitches after receiving a “gnarly gash” over his left eye.
Wayne is preparing to release his latest album, “The Carter IV.” In 2010 he served time in prison in New York after pleading guilty to weapon charges.
