Kendall and Kylie Jenner writing novel

Reality stars Kendall and Kylie Jenner are penning their first novel. The two are taking a very different path from their older Kardashian sisters, who have designer fragrances and a popular clothing line. The novel will be a young adult science fiction story set two hundred years in the future. According to a press release, the book will follow “two sisters on a journey filled with terror, mystery, drama and love.” The untitled fictitious book is set to hit stands in the summer of 2013. The novel will be published by Karen Hunter Publishing / Gallery Books, which is part of the Simon & Schuster umbrella.

“Kylie and I love the creative challenge and are thrilled to have been given the opportunity to share this story,” Kendall, 16, said in a statement. Kylie, 14, added, “We can’t wait to share these characters and the world we created with readers everywhere. We are so excited!”
