Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis call it quits

Actor Johnny Depp and French model-singer Vanessa Paradis have split. According to Depp’s publicist, the couple of 14 years “have amicably separated.” Although Depp, who is famous for films “Edward Scissorhands,” “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” and “Pirates of the Caribbean” and Paradis dated for almost two decades, the pair never married. They lived together in Paris with their 9-year-old son, Jack, and 13-year-old daughter, Lily-Rose.

Depp is set to star as Tonto in the big-screen take on of the popular American western “The Lone Ranger,” which is due out next year.
