Jason Sudeikis to leave ‘SNL’ cast

After eight years of starring in “Saturday Night Live”, Jason Sudeikis is bringing an end to his presence on the show.

Sudeikis made the announcement on the “Late Show with David Letterman”, telling Letterman that he is leaving NBC’s weekend show. The actor has portrayed both Governor Mitt Romney and Vice President Joe Biden during the comedy.

Sudeikis continued to tell Letterman how amazing his time on the show has been. Other “SNL” actors such as Fred Armisen and Bill Hader have also announced that they will be leaving the show.
