Hollywood honors the life of Larry Hagman

Actor and star of the classic television series “Dallas” Larry Hagman died on Friday from complications related to cancer at the age of 81.  A string of both public and private memorial services across a range of forums are scheduled to take place to honor the life and legacy his memory. His personal manager, John Castonia, announced that an invitation-only service will be held this week in Dallas and Los Angeles to celebrate Hagman’s life but did not give more details.

Southfork Ranch, the TV home of one of his characters will honor his memory by giving complimentary public tours of the site on December 2nd.

Producers of the hit TNT Dallas reboot also announced today that Hagman’s character will be given a proper send-off on the show later this season.
