ENTERTAINMENT – Celine Dion returns to Vegas, dedicates song to her husband Rene

For the first time since the death of her husband and manager Rene Angelil, an emotional Celine Dion returned to the stage at the Las Vegas Colosseum on Tuesday. Dion lost her husband on January 14, after a long battle with cancer. People Magazine reports that the performance began with a video tribute to honor Angelil, followed by a quote from Dion herself, “I understood that my career was in a way his masterpiece, his song, his symphony. The idea of leaving it unfinished would have hurt him terribly. I realized that if he ever left us, I would have to continue without him, for him.”
