Christina Aguilera and Steven Tyler perform on telethon for Sandy relief

Singers Christina Aguilera and Steven Tyler joined a string of artists who performed on an NBC telethon meant to raise money for the Red Cross’ Tropical Storm Sandy relief efforts. Christian Aguilera opened the show with her song “Beautiful.” Steven Tyler joined Jimmy Fallon, Bruce Springsteen, and Billy Joel for a performance of “Under the Boardwalk.” Tyler also his band to perform the Aerosmith classic “Dream On.” Other actors and singers that joined the telethon were Kevin Bacon, Sting, Whoopi Goldberg, Danny DeVito, Tina Fey, Mary J. Blige, and Ann Curry.
