Beastie Boys memoir scheduled for 2015

The hip-hop group has signed a contract with Random House Inc. to design an oral history of their success. The book is currently untitled but is scheduled to be released in 2015.

The book will trace the Beastie Boys through its high school years all the way to their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. World famous writers and cultural figures will be interviewed for the book.

The book will be organized by living band members, Michael Diamond (Mike D) and Adam Horovitz (Ad-Rock).
