The sequel to Zack Snyder’s “Man of Steel” movie was released on Wednesday: “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” Moments following the release of the title, twitter began to erupt; fans and celebrities alike began to complain about the lack of originality and depth of the title. Since word got out that there would be a new movie featuring Batman and Superman, it was illegitimately referred to throughout the media as “Batman vs. Superman.” On Wednesday, Warner Brothers announced the new title, and via a press release, confirmed a few more pieces of information about the film, which has begun filming in Detroit, Michigan. The new film will be written by Chris Terrio (“Argo”), and will feature Henry Cavill as he returns to his role of Superman. Wonder Woman will be played by Gal Gadot, and Jesse Eisenberg will take on the role of Lex Luther. The film is set to reach theaters on May 6, 2016.
