The Next season of American Idol will be a lot different for fans who got used to the three famed judges. On Thursday, Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler confirmed that he’ll be leaving the show, while earlier in the day singer-actress Jennifer Lopez hinted at splitting as well. The 42-year-old “Wedding Planner” actress told “Today’s” Natalie Morales, “I love everybody, I love the guys [Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler and host Ryan Seacrest], but I am thinking it’s time for me to go and do other things I love to do like films.” But even Jackson, who’s been a judge on the singing competition since its inception in 2002, is talking about making some big moves. A source has revealed that Jackson, 56, may be trading in the judging panel for a mentoring role on the FOX show.
