2013 Walk of Fame honorees named

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced Friday the names of the 24 honorees who will be receiving stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2013. Entertainers slated for a star next year include, but are not limited to, television personality Ellen DeGeneres, radio personality Steve Harvey, singers Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Luther Vandross, Thalia and Janis Joplin, actors James Franco and Helen Mirren, and bands The Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame committee selects celebrities eligible for a star and those who accept pay $30,000 in costs and fees.
