Johns Hopkins is the best hospital in the country

Johns Hopkins Hospital is the best hospital in the country according to the Baltimore Business Journal. The hospital earned the top position in the Journal’s U.S. News & World Report’s 2013-2014 list of best hospitals.

The hospital had held the top position since 1991 before Massachusetts General Hospital replaced Johns Hopkins at the top of the list last year. According to Baltimore Business Journal, the annual list contains 18 hospitals which are “unusually competent across a range of specialties, not just one or two.”
