Google Inc. reportedly bought Dealmap, a 15-month-old company that compiles discounts from local sellers in markets across the United States. It is the latest deal by Google and it will help people find the best daily deals on the Internet.

The financial terms of the deal were disclosed. Google has spent more than $2.7 billion buying more than 70 companies since the end of 2009. At the moment, Dealmap confines its bargains to New York, San Francisco and Oregon but Google plans to extend the site to cities across the nation. According to Dealmap, at the time Google purchased the company, it had over 2 million users.
