Taylor Swift sued for copyright infringement

Struggling musician Jessie Braham is suing Taylor Swift for copyright infringement for her song “Shake It Off.” Braham’s song, “Haters Gone Hate,” was allegedly copyrighted in 2013, before Swift released her song in 2014. Braham’s song has the lyrics “Haters gone hate, playas gone play. Watch out for them fakers, they’ll fake you everyday,” which he says is ripped off in “Shake It Off.” Braham, who is suing without an attorney, is seeking $42 million in damages as well as having his name added as a songwriter to “Shake It Off.”
