San Bernardino shooters had terrorist connections, officials say

On Wednesday, a shooting at a holiday party for San Bernardino County’s health department killed 14 people and left at least 10 injured. The shooters were Syed Rizwan Farook and his wife Tashfeen Malik, both of whom officials say were radicalized; Farook allegedly had been in contact with some being investigated for terrorism by the police. Farook and Malik were killed in a shootout between themselves and police after attempting to flee the massacre. Although the motive is yet unknown, workplace grievances and his radicalization are the main suspects.
