The pilot of a small plane that crashed Tuesday evening in King and Queen County is unhurt. Sergeant Stephan Vick states that pilot Christopher P. Strasser of Pennsylvania was the only occupant of the 1997 Grumman Tiger. He says the plane left Ford Meade, Maryland, for Jamestown but was redirected to West Point because of foul weather. Strasser is properly licensed and the crash has been notified to the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board.
