Mexico offers $3.8 million reward for “El Chapo”

Mexican drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman is still on the run after escaping his high-security prison days ago. Authorities in Mexico believe he could be hiding in his home village, blending in somewhere in Mexico City, or could have possibly gotten a falsified passport to escape the country. Mexico is offering a bounty of $3.8 million for Guzman’s return. The interior minister of the country believes that prison workers helped Guzman escape through an elaborate tunnel system, after he eluded the security cameras in his cell and discarded his ankle monitor. Guzman is one of the wealthiest and most dangerous men in the world, running a multi-billion dollar drug empire that spans the globe.
