Fast-food chain Chick-fil-A has set the opening date of its first urban D.C.-area franchise to November 4. The restaurant plans on opening another three-to-five locations within the next five years. The new, 3,150-square-feet Chick-fil-A will be opening at 3100 14th St. NW, in the DCUSA shopping center. Although the location is fitting and has attracted much positive attention, there may also be negativity. A recent opening of the Atlanta-based chain in New York drew protests due to the CEO’s objection to gay marriage.
