STAFF: Ines Rivera, DC Spotlight Investigative Reporter

Ines Rivera Prosdocimi is a writer and painter. Her writing has appeared in the Afro-Hispanic Review, Alaska Quarterly Review, Bellevue Literary Review, Borderlands: Texas Poetry Review,  Hispanic Cultural Review, Kweli, PALABRA, Pterodáctilo, Poet Lore, The Caribbean Writer, and elsewhere. Recently, her manuscript “The Flamboyan’s Red Petals,” was a finalist in the 2010 Crab Orchard Series in Poetry First Book Award competition. When Ines isn’t writing, she is painting. In 2003, she received a BA in Fine Arts from VA Tech. Her first solo show, “Figure Compositions,” took place that same year. She has since actively exhibited in the DC metro area.
