Obama: Trump ‘rattles’ world leaders

At a press conference from the G-7 summit in Japan, President Barack Obama addressed the U.S. presidential race, saying presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump’s statements were concerning to world leaders. “They’re rattled by him and for good reason,” Obama said. “Because a lot of the proposals that he’s made display either ignorance of world affairs or a cavalier attitude or an interest in getting tweets and headlines instead of actually thinking through what is required to keep America safe.” Obama said the U.S. is “at the heart of the international order and even those countries that are critical of us…know that ultimately things don’t hold together so well if the U.S. isn’t making good decisions and they count on us to provide stability when making global decisions.”

The Voice’, ‘Dancing with the Stars’ crown season winners

‘The Voice’ announced its season 10 winner as Alison Porter, making her the first woman ever to win after being mentored by a female coach, Christina Aguilera. A former child actress, Porter auditioned for the show with a rendition of Linda Ronstadt’s “Blue Bayou.” Porter first found fame in the John Hughes movie “Curly Sue”. Baltimore officers charged in Freddie Gray death sue State’s Attorney

Officer William Porter and Sgt. Alicia White, two of six officers facing criminal charges in the death of Freddie Gray, filed suit against Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby and Maj. Sam Cogan on May 2. Porter and White both face charges of manslaughter, assault, reckless endangerment and misconduct in office. Porter’s trial in November resulted in a mistrial and he is scheduled for retrial in September. White is scheduled to go to trial in October.
