Opening day for the Nationals looks positive

The Washington Nationals begin the 2016 season on the road versus the Atlanta Braves. The Nationals had the best record during the major leagues spring training, and look to build on that. “I kind of sense a winning attitude,” said outfielder Chris Heisey. “We kind of are starting to expect to win. I know it’s spring training, but when you win as much as we did, you kind of start to realize how much you like that and you want to continue to do it.” Mark Scherzer will face off against Julio Teheran in Washington’s Monday afternoon opener. Scherzer who pitched a no-hitter in his last start for the Nationals in 2015 will try to replicate the same outcome today.

Kesha:  offered her “freedom” if she lies about her rape

Singer Kesha has been in a contract battle with producer Dr. Luke over the past year. Luke is the suspect in rape allegations claimed by Kesha. On Sunday, Kesha took to Instagram to announce that she was offered her “freedom” with stipulations. She would have to publicly apologize and state that she was never raped. This quote from Kesha’s Instagram shares her thoughts on the offer. “So. I got offered my freedom IF i were to lie. I would have to APOLOGIZE publicly and say that I never got raped. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS behind closed doors. I will not take back the TRUTH. I would rather let the truth ruin my career than lie for a monster ever again.”

Do or die situations in Wisconsin presidential primaries

Wisconsin elections are up on Tuesday, as the badger state votes. Wisconsin is important for both second place representatives from each political party. Ted Cruz from the Republican side will look to take advantage and prevent Donald Trump from getting closer to his 1,237 delegates to win the GOP nomination. Bernie Sanders, on the other hand, will need a win in order to slow down Clinton’s momentum heading towards New York’s primary in two weeks.
