A power outage at the Fairfax County Courthouse Tuesday has closed the building and the facility is expected to open on time Wednesday. The General District Court, Circuit Court and the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court are all impacted by the power outage. The power outage is not weather related and it did not affect the Fairfax County Corrections Center which is attached to the courthouse. Crews from Dominion Power are on hand but are unsure of whether the problem is in the system or in the courthouse which was recently built.
