Wildfire in Texas 35% contained

A wildfire in the Lake Meredith Harbor area of Texas, started late Sunday afternoon, and has caused damage to some 100 homes, some of which are completely destroyed. Nearly 2,100 residents have been evacuated from some 1,300 homes. The cause of the wildfire has yet to be determined, but has been driven by strong winds and currently threatens 2,200 acres. A fire official has stated that the fire is, as of now, 35% contained. According to Hutchinson County Emergency Management coordinator Danny Richards, a cold front has caused a rise in humidity which is helping firefighters.
