Bomb scare at BWI Airport; suspicious luggage

BALTIMORE – On Tuesday, at approximately 1:05 pm ET, BWI Airport officials reported a suspicious luggage warning to passengers in the airport. Flights were halted and passengers were evacuated from D concourse for safety measures.

The bomb squad as well as the state fire marshal was brought onto the scene to examine suspicious “unattended bags”, according to officials. The investigation was ongoing and interrupted by an earthquake in the Mid-Atlantic area.
