Paul Ryan faces backlash from White House

Remarks made by Speaker of the House Paul Ryan on Sunday have been condemned by the White House as “pandering to the extreme right wing.” The Republican’s criticism of President Obama’s immigration policy was called out by White House spokesman Josh Earnest as “preposterous” and “ironic,” because it was Ryan who allegedly supported an immigration deal.
