Protesters opposing the permanent appointment of Baltimore’s interim police commissioner have occupied City Hall. Less than 50 protesters are inside, insisting on interim commissioner Kevin Davis and the mayor to agree to a list of demands, and the are monitoring. Davis was appointed after the firing of Anthony Batts following the death of Freddie Gray in April. Whether or not Davis will receive a permanent appointment is still up for decisions for the full council.
