NATIONAL – Obama to travel to Cuba

0

President Barrack Obama announced this morning that he will travel to Cuba late in March. The trip is an effort to end the more than a half-century of estrangement between the U.S. and Cuba and forge normalized relations. This will be the first presidential visit to Cuba in 88 years, with Calvin Coolidge the last visitor. The president is also hoping to expand economic ties with the former Cold War adversary.
