Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert dominate at CMA Music Awards

The 46th Annual Country Music Association Awards was dominated a host of the new generation of country singers. Eric Church, Hunter Hayes, Little Big Town, and  Thompson Square won their first CMA Awards. Little Big Town won Vocal Group of the Year, dethroning Lady Antebellum who had won the award for the previous three years. The big winners however were Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert. Shelton claimed three trophies, not the least of which was Entertainer of the Year.  Blake Shelton and Miranda  Lambert, who won the Song of the Year award for the  “Over You,” marking the first time a  husband and wife won together in the category. Each also took top prize for Male and Female Vocalist.
