STAFF: Cathy Enns, Staff Writer

 Cathy Enns has weathered and learned from many ups and downs as a daughter, wife, mom and career woman.  As a child she lived a nomadic life, with her parents relocating the family every six to nine months.  She and her first husband divorced and worked hard to put aside their differences to raise their daughter together, helping her blossom into a strong, confident young woman.  Cathy has worked as a marketing director in technology companies and in non-profits that serve the needs of low-income families.  Today she’s a writer and consultant to a variety of organizations, and she volunteers on poverty-fighting initiatives in her area.  She is happily married and lives in the country with her husband, three dogs and a variable number of cats.
