Obama’s $4 Trillion budget same day as NH primary

President Barack Obama’s final budget proposal is happening on the same day of the New Hampshire primary. The budget is typically released on a Monday, but White House press secretary Josh Earnest says Tuesday’s release would allow administration employees and journalist the opportunity to watch Super Bowl 50. The 2017 budget for the fiscal year beginning Oct. 1 will incorporate proposals for new spending on education and tax increases on corporations and the wealthy, to keep deficits down.
